The sizes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Width by length in millimetres, and how many of each. Rough is fine, we will check it back with you.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The material<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ply, MDF or acrylic, and the thickness. If you are not sure, tell us what it is for and we will suggest one.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What happens to it<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Painted, veneered, left raw, or straight into a carcass. That decides how the edges come off the machine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What people ask before they send a list<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Can I just send a spreadsheet?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

Yes, and it is the quickest way. Any format we can open. If the columns are not obvious we will ring and check rather than guess, because a guessed width is a wasted sheet.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n

What if the pieces do not fit the sheet?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

We tell you before we cut, not after. There is usually a way round it: turning a piece so the grain runs the other way, or splitting one panel with a joint where it will not show. You get the options, not a bill for a sheet you were not expecting.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n

Do you deliver, or is it collection only?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

Both. Our own van covers about thirty miles and goes out most days. Anything further goes on a pallet, but sheet material travels badly and we would rather you knew that before you paid for it.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n

How long from sending the list to collecting?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

Same day if it is in before eleven and the material is on the rack. Bigger runs are next day. If you are working to a date, say so with the list and we will tell you straight whether it is on.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n

How accurate is the cutting?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

Half a millimetre either way on the panel saw, which is about right for anything that has to fit an opening. If you need tighter than that, say so and we will tell you honestly whether we can hold it.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
