The works behind the website

Cutting glass here since 1998

Two tables, a furnace out the back, and the same faces on them for most of thirty years. Ring us and whoever answers has cut glass themselves.

A note from the bench

Scoring a pane on the cutting table

There are two of us on the tables and one furnace out the back, and that is the whole company.

It means the person who takes your sizes is the person who cuts them, and there is nobody in between to blame if it comes out wrong. When something does go wrong, and it does, you get told before you have to ask.

We turn work away most weeks. Structural glass, anything going above head height on a public building, and units for double glazing are all jobs somebody else does better than we would, and we would rather say so than have a go.

If you are not sure whether your job is one of ours, ring and ask. It costs nothing and it saves us both a week.

Still on the cutting table most days

In real rooms

Made to measure, fitted and photographed

Every photograph is left the shape it was taken, because a tall window and a long worktop do not fit the same crop.

A finished job in place
A finished job photographed indoors
A job photographed against a building for scale
A job fixed flat to a wall
A close up of a finished edge
A job on posts at the edge of a field

If it is wrong when it arrives, we cut it again. No forms, no argument, and no charge.

Signed off by whoever cut it, before it leaves the bench
